We do not believe this update will require a wipe for community servers. Made it so that when you type: '/help ', the permission for that command is shown. Fixed another way a player's default name may end up as 'Player'.

The code that handles synchronizing values across the network now has significantly less overhead every frame on the server. Network messages are now handled more gracefully over time instead of pausing the server or client to handle a lot of messages. Made it so the networking code does not miss messages if the server is running slow due to the socket buffer filling up. Added some protection against receiving large volumes of network messages. Optimized some large portions of the networking backend to reduce CPU usage and garbage creation. We expect the next wipe to be on September 5th. We plan to do a wipe on the first Tuesday of each month to keep the servers running well, and the game fresh. Please continue to list bugs, balancing thoughts, and email us about exploits. This release contains some network backend improvements that help server performance. We expect the next wipe to be on November 7th. This release contains exploit fixes and a number of server side network optimizations.

Until we can figure out why there are issues with it.

*Edit - Were reverting the networking update from this patch for the time being. Reduced the amount of garbage created from creating network recipients and from networking in general. Streams are returned to the pool immediately now. Optimized the internal management of stream allocation. Made it so the movement syncing sends more frequent unreliable messages and less frequent reliable messages for optimization reasons. Optimized the networking backend by batching multiple very small packets into larger packets. Reduced the number of not-so-useful logs in the server console. Fixed a bug where existing players would slowly slide down hills and desynchronize if you logged in after them and they did not move. Fixed a bug where streams that are batched properly respect the order in which they were sent. Switched any usages of time functions to use a more stable and consistent timing mechanism.
